This collection is inspired by the more untold story of Medusa, where she is a scapegoat, wronged, and silenced. Focusing on Ovid’s telling of her story, the support of her sisters, carrying the weight of an undeserved punishment, and the silencing of women’s voices.

This look is comprised of three garments. The jacket is double breasted and made from a printed cotton fabric with a removable capelet. The capelet is made of leather and is adorned with leather braided knotting and cotton poly-fil stuffed tubes that weave in and out of the capelet.

The skirt is made from the same printed cotton. as well as sections of draped brown cotton ripstop with leather tabs that hold the draping in place.
